Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I don’t know if you remember but last year fast fashion bargain chain store Wet Seal abruptly pulled their Jr. plus size line from their online store. It was there one day, and poof, gone the next. There was no explanation. Not even a tweet or Facebook post as to why they eradicated their plus size line. I chalked it up to lack of sales and marketing.
Well, a few weeks ago I was contacted by the Wet Seal team and they alerted me to the news that they have revamped and relaunched their Jr. plus size line. Their plus size shoppers were not happy with the abrupt dismissal of the plus size section. Consumers pleaded with Wet Seal to bring back the plus size section and I guess, that left Wet Seal with no other choice but to bring the line back. They let their customers know by posting this message on their Facebook page
The relaunch looks very much like their previous selection of trendy styles at affordable prices. The major changes I saw was the more visible Jr. Plus link highlighted in the menu bar. They are now showcasing hot buys of the week and even offer up some super cute outfit ideas. The sizes still range from 1X-3X and 14-24 .
You can check out the relaunched plus size section HERE I have teamed up with Wet Seal to try out a few pieces. It’s freezing cold here in NYC so I haven’t had a chance to snap picks. However, stay tuned for my product reviews. This will be my first time wearing Wet Seal since my high school days so I’m curious to see what their plus size pieces are all about. They are junior sized so make sure to read the size chart if you like what you see.
Have you tried Wet Seal Jr. Plus, if not, would you try them?
Here are a few pieces that I am digging:

They use to have it before and I purchased a dress from them. Then one day I went back and the line was gone? The dress was nice but a bit short for me due to it being Juniors size. Hopefully they have some nice things :o)

Waiting for reviews first. I bought one skirt from the plus line in a 3x and it barely fit me at a size 18. I know it’s jr sizing, but I would think if a 3x was size 24-ish, then something was wrong. Never had this kind of issue with the f21 plus section.

I never knew that Wet Seal had a plus jur line. I’ve assumed that Wet Seal quality would be poor. Though, I hate that most other stores have ugly clothes for those of us in their 20s and 30s. You have to pick and choose so much from other stores such as Kohl’s and Macy’s.

I shopped them when they first relaunched it only because they had fee shipping. I’m glad they brought it back but I’m not pleased with their selections at all…they are still far behind other plus size options and for the price I can get better looking cheap clothes from F21 and much better quality from Asos.

I’ve purchased a plaid shirt from the line that was dope! and I want some electric blue leggings from the site as well…The key for me is shopping their sales and being slective with my choices…otherwise, I’m in.

Since it’s juniors I kind of figured no matter what plus size they claim that they have itd only be for girls and not us 20 and 20+ year old women!
