Hey curvy girls all over the worlds,
It’s Workwear Wednesday! This week, I want to talk to you about wearing bold prints to the office. I personally think bold prints are a great way to standout at work whether you’re the boss or an employee. The key to pulling off bold prints at the office is to wear them with solid color accessories. For instance, you can break up a bold print by wearing a solid color belt or blazer in a contrasting color.
When it comes to choosing the right print for your frame, you want to keep in mind that you don’t want a print that is going to swallow you and overpower you. If you’re plus size and petite, you should go for small to medium size prints that are slightly spaced apart. Plus size women can get away with any print. If you’re going to choose a larger print, then try prints that are close together. If you do go with a large spaced out print then try those prints in a wrap or skater dress style to flatter your shape. Again, the key is to not have a print overwhelm your frame.
To help get you through the rest of the work week, we’ve picked out 5 bold and dashing dresses that are perfect for the office.
MICHAEL Michael Kors Plus Antalia Giraffe Print Dress
Taylor Animal-Print Shift Dress, Cocoa/Black, Women’s
Miss Selfridge Plus Size Grid Print Wrap Dress
Joanna Hope Blurred Spot Jersey Dress
Eloquii Fit and Flare Floral Dress
Earlier this Fall season, I wore this spot print dress from Simply Be. It is a very bold dress but I toned it down with a black wide width belt and black minimalist sandals. You can check out more pics from that post Here
