Style Journey: There’s Nothing Like A Skirt That Makes A Statement*

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my spring look. I’ve been reading up on my fashion mags, reviewing spring 2015 runway shows to determine what I want my style to be this season. I’ve decided that I want a look that’s polished yet intriguing. Bold but simple, and modern. This outfit I recently wore bottles up that exact style I’ve been looking for. It’s so me! If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know I love color and I absolutely love a great skirt.

You guys won’t believe where I found this amazing high waist full skirt. Pink ClubWear! Yup, I’ve never shopped Pink Club Wear before but have seen some of my blogging buddies rock pieces from them. I decided to go and checkout their e-commerce site to see what they had to offer and I found quite a few pieces that actually fit my personal style and lifestyle. Clearly by their name they are the spot plus size girls go to for sexy party outfits. Now, there were some styles that I would never wear but after cruising the site, I saw that they had some cute daytime pieces that could take me from work to weekend.

Oh, and Pink Clubwear also carries missy sizes staring at a Small. So, basically they range in size from S-3X.

This skirt was the first thing that caught my eye and I was wishing very hard that they had my size. If not, I was going to squeeze all this jelly into whatever size was available.  Luckily they did have my size. I was nervous about the length but it hit just above my knee. I found that Pink ClubWear sizing leans more toward junior plus than women’s plus so I made sure I sized up and I’m glad I did because the skirt fit perfectly.

This skirt is a perfect daytime piece. It’s something I can wear to work and then out for drinks. It has a dressy look to it but a basic tank top could make it more casual.

I loved the orange color in the skirt and for my first time wearing it, I decided to bring out the orange more with a simple bright orange buttoned down shirt.

I tied the look together with a pair of nude pumps and a gold chain link necklace and gold hoop earrings.

There were quite a few cute styles on Pink ClubWear that caught my eye.
