A few weeks ago I shared with you some new drugstore makeup I picked up. In that video, I featured a few lipstick swatches. I decided to come back with a second video and show you how some of the new drugstore lipsticks look. As a dark skinned woman, people always ask me where do I find flattering lip colors for my skin tone.
For me, finding lipsticks that flatter used to be a challenge, but now it’s easy. When shopping for lipsticks, especially in the drugstore, it’s a gamble. Since you can’t try on lipsticks in the drugstore, I always pick colors that are blue based. That trick has helped grow my lipstick collection. However, if you want to look for colors that are not available at a drug store, you can also explore options that are available online. You can get a wide range of lipstick colors and shades to choose from. Drugstores may also have similar products, but you may have to spend some time searching for them.
During my recent trip to the drugstore, I found quite a few new shades. Makeup brands like Maybelline, Wet N Wild, Revlon, and Black Radiance have all released new lipsticks for winter 2017. Some of the shades are really bright and need a lip liner worn with them. Others look perfect on me straight from the tube.
