Since I have large boobs, the one question I get asked the most is where do I get my bra’s from. People see these big breast walking their way and wonder how do I keep them lifted. The moment my breast started coming in, my mom taught me the importance of having a good bra. As I got older, she would emphasize how important it is to have multiple bras. Having one or two good ones just isn’t enough. I’ve carried my mom’s bra tips with me for the past 30 something years and thought that I would share a few must have bras with you today.
Summer is the perfect time to begin upgrading or adding to your lingerie wardrobe. If you’re a person that likes to wear strapless dresses, t-shirts, or sheer pieces during the summer, then you need bra’s that are specific to what you’re wearing.
There is one main go to place for me when I am in need of some good cute and sexy bras and that is Cacique at Lane Bryant. Right now they’re having their semi-annual sale clearance event in store and online. Before you checkout the sale, checkout my top 3 bras every woman should own.
Strapless/Multi-Way
If you’re the type of girl who rolls her bra straps down whenever you wear something strapless or the type of girl who uses a safety pin or paper binder to hold the straps of your bra together when you rock a halter dress, then get yourself a strapless or multi-way bra. Lane Bryant has a nice assortment of strapless bras that have lace and printed details. They also have strapless/multi-way bras in neutral colors and a satin finish. A multi-way strapless bra is good because you can switch around the straps to fit a halter or one shoulder piece. I have more than enough neutral colored strapless bras so, I recently picked up a lace strapless bra from Lane Bryant’s Cacique Semi Annual sale and it is gorgeous.
Fast Lane Two Tone Strapless Bra
I love the detailing on it. Plus, it gives me the support I need. Make sure your strapless bra’s give you good support. Here’s a fit tip: Sometimes I go down a cup or band size with my strapless bra’s for a tighter fit.
T-Shirt Bra
Every woman has days when they just want to throw on a t-shirt and pair of jeans. However, if you’re going to wear a tee, you don’t want to wear a lace bra or a printed bra because you’ll see the print or lace detail through the tee.
Cotton Lightly Lined T-Shirt Bra
You also want something that is breathable. If you don’t have a t-shirt bra, then this summer is the right time to get one. Look for one that is made of cotton. Also, look for neutral colors. You’ll get more wear out of them and the bras will look seamless under your t-shirt. You might also want to look for the best bra for back fat in t-shirt bras, if you are concerned about unwanted bulges due to wearing bras.
Flesh Tone Bra’s
Flesh tone bras are a little harder to find, especially if you’re a woman of color. However, Lane Bryant now offers some of their Cacique Bra’s in mocha and french almond. I snagged one in french almond it works perfect with my skin-tone. Bras that are flesh tone are perfect during the summer because you can wear them with your sheer clothing or if you wear all white.
