I don’t know about you guys but sometimes I separate my wardrobe into two categories. I have my dressy pieces then I have my weekend casual pieces. It makes it so much easier to put outfits together. If I know there’s an upcoming cocktail party or dinner, then I reach for a snazzy dress. If I’m meeting a friend for lunch then I reach for my casual pieces. Sometimes, I even mix my dressy pieces with my casual pieces to create unique ensembles.
I’m always searching for cute dresses and sweaters during the fall. A few weeks ago I was browsing Catherine’s website and landed on a sleek chevron printed dress. The mix of colors and the body skimming silhouette drew me in.

This dress has a lot of stretch and fits so comfortable. Plus it makes your booty look good. This dress is perfect for dinner or an after work event. I slipped on a pair of black patent leather pumps and a black leather clutch.
Now, when it comes to my weekend casual looks for fall, it always involves a sweater, jeans, and more times than none, a pair of heels. Yes, I am that girl who wears heels as casual footwear. Ya’ll know how much I love leopard print, right? I spied this open fron leopard cardigan on Catherine’s website as well. It is so cozy. It has a relaxed fit and it hits slightly above the knee. Oh, and did I mention it has pockets.

It’s the perfect sweater to throw on with jeans. I slipped on a pair of black jeggings that I also got from Catherine’s. The jeggings fit comfortable. They had a lot of stretch. I probably could have sized down for a tighter fit around the ankles. However, they were loose enough for me to cuff the hem. You could even slip on sneakers with these jeans and cardigan to run errands in. I also threw on a white tank under the cardigan to make the leopard print pop more.
