Plus size women can always use a new plus size label to shop. We don’t have nearly as many options as non plus size women. Especially when it comes to workwear. As a former corporate employee for a hedge fund, I know all too well how cumbersome it can be to find quality well cut work clothes in plus size. Now, thanks to Lauren Chan, Founder and CEO of new plus size label Henning, plus size women have a new workwear line to shop.
Henning by Lauren Chan
Founder Lauren Chan was the features editor for Glamour magazine. She created some amazing content for plus size fashion lovers and quite a few of her articles sparked much needed conversation about size inclusivity.
Henning by Lauren Chan offers more than just stylish workwear, the clothing is functional. The pieces were designed with special attention to detail to help combat some of the fi challenges plus size women face. The plus size workwear label comes in sizes 12-24 with a contemporary price range. You’ll find looks that range from $295-$995.
Laren says, “At Henning, we’re building a collection of quality, fashion-forward essentials for women size 12 and up. Think: wool blazers, stretch button-downs, and day-to-night dresses—pieces that will allow us to look and feel peak powerful. “
We checked out the new label and spied a few pieces that would definitely make a statement and make you feel like a boss. What’s cool about Henning is that all the clothing is made from material with natural content. In addition Henning was also made right here in the United States. It was created and designed in New York City.
