AT THE OFFICE

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t kick off the new year with a little leopard print. I know, I know, you guys are probably saying, I’m going to need you to find another print to obsess over.  I can’t help it. Me and leopard print go together like peanut butter and jelly. I found this leopard print blouse at Lord & Taylor. It’s by Rafaella. Rafaella has a bevy of sleek and chic office pieces for plus sizes and this top is one of my favorites. The fit is perfect.

When it comes to my fall and winter office style, I’m all about  easy separates. I like to mix and match tops and bottoms because it gives me endless outfit possibilities. A pencil skirt and blouse is nothing groundbreaking but I find when I go for a printed top it makes the ensemble interesting. Pairing a bold colored skirt with a printed blouse takes the look up a notch.

You guys know I love me a good color combination, so I paired the leopard print top with a burgundy pencil skirt from Forever21 Plus and my camel colored peacoat from Simply Be. Instead of pumps, I wore a pair of black suede ankle boots to update the look. Right now, I am into draping my coats over my outfits like a cape. To be honest, I like it for the dramatic effect. It makes your ensemble look a little more polished. Just my opinion.
