Since 2009 Stylish Curves has always stood for and supported black owned plus size clothing brands. We have shown them love with countless articles about their collections. Personally as Editor in Chief, I’ve spent my money and bought pieces from these black owned plus size clothing brands. As the founder of Stylish Curves it is my duty and honor to continue supporting these brands. We are not new to this, we are true to it.
So many of you have asked how you can support the black community. In a previous article, we listed a few actionable steps that you could take to help fight against the injustices of black people. Today I am listing black owned plus size fashion brands that you can support. These brands don’t receive millions of dollars in investments. However, they continue to maintain and grow their businesses celebrating black women.
This list includes a mix of black plus size designers, black size inclusive designers, and online boutiques that offer trendy clothing, custom made designs, swimwear, and plus size Bridal gowns.
We will continually update this list.
So, please share in the comment section black owned plus size clothing brands. Also black plus size designers that customize clothing.
If you’re a black owned plus size fashion brand let us know.

I would really love to support some of these. It’s very triggering as a superfat person to have to go check the sizes of every brand on a list like this only to find that now you know of 30 more plus size brands that don’t even make clothes for you. It would be really nice if there was a short description of the style of these brands and a size range listed with them. I want to support these businesses but not at the expense of myself.
alissa says
Hi Laura! Thank you for your comment. It was not my intention to trigger you with just listing the brands without their sizes. I just wanted to create a resource. Instead of a description, I embedded each brands instagram page which would allow you to scroll through and see what the brand was about and if you liked what you saw you would just click the link in their page bio.
I heard your complaint and I have gone back through and listed the sizes ranges for each brand based on the information on their website.
Also, I do have an article on my site which is dedicated to plus size brands that offer sizes above a 24. You can feel free to check that out via the link below.

My online shop is temporarily on eBay and I invite my customers to join me in Bowie, Maryland for a private shopping experience. The outfits in the blogs are very pretty and trendy. Best for plus-size women. Being a fitness enthusiast I am also in the favor of women’s activewear. These are also very trendy nowadays and comfortable for plus-size women. The best thing I liked is, you are supporting the black community and I really appreciate it. Thanks for sharing the brands and keep posting such stuff.
