Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Next up on our 2017 countdown list is fashion trends to leave in 2017. I know this is a touchy topic because people feel like you should be able to wear what you want. Yes, by all means, wear what you want. However, I think we can all agree that there are certain trends that just have been beaten to death in 2017.
Here are our top 5 fashion trends to leave in 2017
Cold Shoulder
Listen, I don’t know about you but I’m giving cold shoulder tops and dresses the cold shoulder. There was a time when I was team cold shoulder, but plus size brands have beaten the cold shoulder trend to death. It’s their interpretation of being sexy without showing too much skin. I’m over it.
Lace Up Details
Second to cold shoulder is lace up details. Every Instagram boutique has sold an abundance of lace up tops, dresses, and leggings. When it comes to lace up detail trend, the oversize grommets is what did it for me. It just became too much.
Now there were some cute lace up detail dresses and tops that didn’t have grommets. The trend was cute but its on overload now. Maybe it can be brought back in the fall of 2019.
Floral Applique’s
2017 was the year we that floral applique’s began to take over just about everything. You saw them on denim
and sheer mesh tops and dresses. I want to say goodbye to this one because it gave off a cheaply vibe. It also made me feel like I was 12 years old.
Ruffled Hem Pants
First let me say, I am here for the ruffle trend. I’m just not here for the ruffled pant hems. It’s another trend that came off cheaply. I can’t lie, during the summer and spring, the pants were cool, especially with a pair of heels. However, once the trend transferred over into the fall and winter, it lost its appeal. I tried on a pair of these and felt like I belonged in a salsa dance competition.
Clear Shoes
I can’t believe there were even a thing. Death to clear shoes that showed off your hot sweaty feet. That is all.

Dear god, the ruffled hem thing is hideous. I saw a LOT of girls wearing them at college, and it made them look like they were wearing half a clown cosplay – they just needed the oversized shoes. I honestly thought it was because of IT coming out in cinemas.

It is sure that so many fashion trend will get obsolete in coming year but stole will always remain inn fashion. Sage saboori is stole manufacturer in delhi and produce a long range of stole, duppatta etc,.

The only trend I follow in 2017 is cold shoulder. Lace-up trend is okay, but I don’t like floral applique’s, the ruffled pant hems and clear shoes at all, absolutely agree with your reason. That clear shoes trend is so weird, how could their feet breathe?
