In today’s fashion news, actress and former MTV VJ La La Anthony announced her new clothing collection with Lord & Taylor. The Power tv series star teamed up with the classic department stored for a collection of casual pieces and denim. One of the best things about La La’s new line is that it comes in sizes 0-24. Yup, you heard that right. La La did not leave the big girls out. Her collection offers fashion forward pieces like distressed denim, cutout sweatshirt dresses, and bomber jackets.
In an interview with Refinery 29, La La said, “We’re focused on comfort,“When you put the clothes on, you can forget about them and go on with your day.”
“The quality is great,“The denim is super durable and will last forever. I love that we didn’t sacrifice the quality of the jeans by giving a lower price point.”
It’s great that La La went inclusive out the gate. Plus size women are often an afterthought when it comes to fashion. Her collection is youthful, trendy, and most importantly, its affordable.
