Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I don’t know about ya’ll but I am loving this winter weather we’ve been getting. Living in NYC, it’s normally freezing in December but we are experiencing record breaking temperatures. It’s consistently been in the high 50 degrees, which is the perfect temp for me to breakout one of my sweater dresses. If you’ve been following me for a long time, then you know how much I love a sweater dress during winter. I particularly like printed styles. Animal prints. Last year I wore a zebra print style from Carmakoma (seen HERE) and this year, I found a cute leopard print midi sweater dress from Old Navy. Yup, Old Navy.
Old Navy Dress (gifted), Eloquii Biker Jacket, Lane Bryant Boots, Lane Bryant Belt
A few weeks ago, I told you guys that Old Navy has revamped and basically revived their plus size section, (read HERE). Well, I went back on their site and found this sweater dress. I got my true size but since it has stretch. I probably could have sized down.
Since its not super cold, I was able to wear the dress with a black biker jacket. The dress flares out a little bit at the hem but I tied a knot in the back of it for a more fitted narrow look.
To create shape, I added a medium width belt.
For shoes, I went with a pair of over the knee boots from Lane Bryant.
I accessorised with a silver necklace and black sunnies.
