Although we are in the middle of winter, spring is on my mind. Especially since the weather here in New York City has been slightly warm. Since it’s not officially spring, I’ve been very particular about the pieces of clothing to buy. My goal is to find styles that I can wear now and later. This way I can get more bang for my buck. One of the places I checked out was Walmart plus size clothing. I found some really stylish pieces from their popular fashion brands.
Walmart has become quite the budding fashion destination. They have a slew of clothing brands that cater to both misses and plus size women. I’ve shopped Walmart plus size clothing brands in the past and have been pleased with how cute some of the pieces are. This month I found some snazzy looks and can’t wait to wear them again.
Scoop is one of Walmart’s popular fashion brands. Recently I scored a denim bomber jacket, a leopard print skirt, and a pair of blue faux suede pumps from them. All the pieces are top spring trends.
Bomber Jackets
When it comes to jackets, bombers are making a comeback. I like this denim bomber from Scoop because it has a modern youthful vibe and will go with everything from jeans to skirts.
I like this bomber Jacket from Scoop because it fits perfect. The cut is flattering and the medium wash is a great shade for both spring and winter.
Slip Skirts
I rocked the bomber jacket with another spring trend. We are going to be slip skirts everywhere this year. Since last year was all about the slip dress. This slip skirt is also from Scoop. It has an elastic waistband and hits a little bit below the knee. what I love most is the red and blue leopard print.
The two paired together made for a fun look. The cropped bomber helped to define my waist and the slip skirt offered a flattering fit.
To pull everything together, I slipped on a pair of navy faux suede shoes also from Scoop. Navy is not a color of choice from me but I liked that these were a bit brighter than a traditional navy color. The heel is about 2.5 inches which made them easy to walk and stand in.
