Wearing My Favorite Plus Size Brands To New York Fashion Week (Day 1)

As a fashion blogger and fashion enthusiast, September is one of my favorite months because it is jammed packed with all things fashion. New fall collections are dropping and we get to see what upcoming trends for spring and summer next year. I’ve been going to fashion week for almost a decade and I still get excited. This year I will be attending more shows than usual, so I wanted to be prepared and looking good everyday.

This season of fashion week, I will be wearing clothing from some of my favorite plus size brands and designers. Normally when I shop for fashion week, I get pieces from both plus size and non plus size brands. I want to make sure that I am doing my part as a fashion blogger to shed light on the amazing plus size brands that are out here creating stylish and fashion week worthy pieces for women sized 14 and up.

On day one of New York Fashion week I was having a bit of a meltdown on what to wear. I had so many options it was difficult for me to choose. My first instinct was to go with a dress. However, I was thumbing through my rolling rack filled with clothes and landed on a bright yellow pomegranate belted blazer from Eloquii.

Eloquii has been lacing plus size fashion bloggers with amazing quality on trend clothing for the past few years. Each year the designs get better. This pomegranate belted blazer has a satin feel and actually comes with matching wide leg pants. I have the pants but decided against them and just went with the blazer being my statement piece.

I slipped on a pair of girlfriend jeans that I got as a gift from Dia & Co. They’re from Molly & Isadora. Skinny jeans are always my go to but I wanted to switch it up. I love the relaxed fit of these girlfriend jeans.
