The first thing I need is a statement coat. Ladies, I can’t express to you enough how a statement coat will make the most basic outfit look stunning. This year I am into animal prints, faux furs, and puffer coats.

Cozy sweaters are another cold weather essential. Preferably turtlenecks. This bright red turtleneck from the Time and Tru brand is exactly what I needed to add a jolt of energy to a denim look. This red knit turtleneck is not only comfy but it looks great against my skintone.

In addition to a statement coat and cozy knits, a pair of medium to dark wash jeans are a must have in my wardrobe. I love these Levi Strauss jeans I found at Walmart. They’re skinny leg and the fit is like a glove. Hugs the curves perfectly.

Winter Boots
Last and certainly not least, boots are for sure a cold weather essential. While I love a heeled boot, combat boots are also one of my fave styles. Plus lug sole boots are a hot trend. They’re everywhere and Walmart has nice assortment of winter boots.
