This week, I went to my local Rite Aid to pick up one of the new shades from Maybelline Superstay Foundation. I’ve heard some good reviews about it and wanted to try it. People were comparing it to Huda Beauty foundation. Lately, drugstore foundations have been bringing it with quality, coverage, and lasting power. Many of them rival some of the high end foundations you see at Sephora or department store counters. Personally, I am a fan of Maybelline’s Fit Me foundation. I love the matte finish. Which is also why I was eager to try the Superstay full coverage foundation. Another reason, that made me want to try it, was the new shades.
Typically, Maybelline’s darkest shade is coconut. However, in the superstay formula they’ve added Mocha and Truffle. I went to my local Rite Aid and picked up the truffle shade which is the darkest shade. Before you watch the video, what I can say is that the formula is perfect and so is the coverage. However, there were some major cons to this foundation.
One of the things I dislike is that there aren’t any darker shades than Truffle. I wish they had the same amount of shades that they have in Fit Me. You’ll see what I mean when you watch the video.
