When it comes to date night I love slipping on a chic dress. During the fall season I look for dresses with a thicker fabric. A nice stretch jersey knit is my favorite. And I definitely love a dress that hugs my curves in a flattering way.
Typically I wear a bright colored or fun printed dress when me and my boo go out. I rarely ever wear black. However, this year I’m trying to step outside of my comfort zone and wear things I normally don’t.
Plus Size Date Night Dresses
This month I needed a few new date night dresses so I checked out Lane Bryant. They always have some cute dresses on their site. Their new fall arrivals featured some pretty snazzy dresses that you can wear now and wear later.
One of my fave dresses was a black one shoulder body con dress. Which was worthy of a 5 star restaurant dinner. I loved the one shoulder asymmetrical cut at the top of the dress. It made the simple dress more interesting.

This dress fits me like a glove and it was very comfortable. It hits me at the knee and has a high quality of stretch in it. I slipped on a stretch gold link bracelet also from Lane Bryant.
The next dress that caught my eye from Lane Bryant was this floral printed off the shoulder belted dress. Now I’m not much of a floral print fant but occassionally I will wear one. I loved the off the shoulder detail on this dress.
The color combination of blue, black, and purple was striking. Even the ruched detail around the bust offered a flattering look to my ample bosom.

As for accessorizing, I went with a tassel earring. Also from Lane Bryant. They really do have cute accessories.
