As much as I enjoy going to New York Fashion Week. I’m always happy when it ends. Ubering around the city trying to make a show on time can be stressful. Especially when running around in heels. When it came to outfits for this fashion week, my plus size street style looks consisted of vibrant spring colors, a little bit of print mixing, and one of my looks was a statement coat.
My New York Fashion Week Plus Size Street Style Looks
So, let me breakdown each outfit and why I chose to wear it. Here’s the first look.
Mixing Plaids
For day one of NYFW I wanted to go with a mixed print look. Torrid sent over this plaid coat and plaid two piece skirt set. Initially I was going to wear them separately. Then I thought why not try them together. The colors all went together and both prints were plaid. So, why not. It’s fashion week. The time where you should take personal fashion risks.
I thought the look was cute and even got snapped by a few street style photographers.

Spring In Winter
For Day 2 of NYFW I woke up feeling good. It was rainy and I wanted to add a little spring to the winter mix. My way of doing that was by rocking this bright pink blazer and pant set from Fashion to Figure. In addition, I added a blue wool coat I got from H&M. It was the perfect color combo.
Also, I added a pair of nude pumps and a lime colored Calvin Klein bag, as well as my Chloe sunnies.

Let the Snakes Out
On Day 3 of NYFW I kept it simple. My shows were at night so I went for a little snakeskin. The focal point of this look was the boots and the coat. I slipped on the snakeskin boots from Eloquii and a cherry red robe belted coat also from Eloquii. Underneath I wore a sheer polka dot shirt from Boohoo and a pair of faux leather leggings from Lane Bryant. In addition, I added my YSL lou bag to complete the look.
The Statement Coat
On the last day of Fashion Week I only had one show and that baby was at 9:00 AM. It was the Serena Williams show. I had to get up early and didn’t plan my look the night before. So, I did what I always do in situations like this. I threw on a statement coat.
A few months ago I bought this Modcloth polka dot coat and hadn’t worn it yet. I knew it would be the perfect piece for the Serena show. To make the look a bit more interesting, I zipped up a pair of white boots from Eloquii, a wide brim hat from Brixton, a white belt from Fashion to Figure, and my YSL lou bag.
