After teasing us for a year, Tik Tok star Remi Bader’s plus size clothing line is finally here. Remi teamed up with Revolve for an extended collection that goes up to a size 4X.
For the past two years Tik Tok has been a source of fun fashion videos for people of all sizes. Although there are countless fashion influencers on the platform, there are a few who stood out. One of them was Remi Bader.
With her real life try on hauls, Remi has captured the hearts and funny bones of women all over the world. As a midi-sized curvy woman, she showed what clothes from brands like Free People, Revolve, and Zara looked like on a woman with a thicker body type.
The success of her Tik Tok videos led her to an opportunity to create her very own clothing line with a controversial brand.
Revolve has received a substantial amount of backlash over the years for their lack of diversity and size inclusivity. Remember the whole fat shaming tee situation with Lena Dunham?
Other complaints were they rarely ever featured people of color or larger plus size women. So a collaboration like this was surprising. To say the least.
Although Remi did receive some backlash herself about working with Revolve and the lack of representaion for larger sizes, she forged on. And was able to debut her clothing line this August.
She even used plus size models like Priscilla Del Castillo (pictured above) in the promotional photos. And on the Revolve website, you’ll see influencer/ model Nicole Simone from Curves On A Budget.
Remi Bader Plus Size Clothing Line
The Remi Bader plus size clothing line features on trend styles like cutout body con dresses, a corset, matching sets, as well as a handful of sexy tops. With a fall like color palette of black, red, and green, the collection ranges in sizes from XXS-4X.
