BEST SLEEVE LENGTHS TO FLATTER BIG ARMS
First up let’s get into the best sleeve lengths for big arms. Most people think they only can do long sleeve. However, As a fashion girl, I’m here to tell you that you have a variety of sleeve options that will not just flatter your arms but elevate your outfits.
To keep it simple, you should be looking for 3 specific sleeve lengths.
- 3/4 Sleeve Length-Hits past the elbow towards the forearm
- Elbow Sleeve Length-Hits right at or slightly below the elbow
- Midi Short Sleeve Length-Stops around the middle of your upper arm. Still exposing your elbows

These sleeve lengths should be used as a guide. You can wear whatever sleeve length you like. However, if you’re looking for arm coverage, these are good options that will have you feeling comfortable and confident.

If you want to look modern and stylish, then these sleeves styles will flatter thicker arms. Plus, they provide more room for your large arms to fit without you breaking into a sweat.
PUFF SLEEVES
This voluminous sleeve style covers around the largest part of your arm aka the bicep. Puff sleeves often gather around the shoulder and then puff out around the arms and have elastic around the hem of the sleeve. Plus it adds a little interest to your look. While balancing out your large arms.

FLUTTER SLEEVES
This classic sleeve length is perfect if you want something a bit loose around your arms. The flutter sleeve flares out starting from your shoulder down. You want a flutter sleeve style that flows down over the bicep hitting slightly above your elbow or past your elbow.

OFF THE SHOULDER
Another one of my favorite styles to wear to cover my big arms is off the shoulder. This allows you to still show some skin. And clavicle. If you want both of your arms completely covered up, you can also try a one shoulder top. Both styles look elegant and give off an understated sexy look.

BALLOON SLEEVES
Another voluminous sleeve style that will flatter big flabby arms are balloon sleeves. They’re very similar to puff sleeves. They’re voluminous throughout the entire sleeve. Some balloon sleeves have a drop shoulder and others can be full and relaxed from the shoulder down. It’s going to give you room around the largest part of your arm.

You can wear any style of t-shirt you like. However, if you’re on the hunt for what tees are cut for larger arms, I’m sharing two options. And I’m sharing a size inclusive brand that offers a variety of tees and lengths for larger arms.
ATHLETIC TEES
For more of a relaxed fit, opt for athletic tees. They’re often cut with more room in the shoulder and bicep. And they’re cut a little longer in the sleeves. Try sports brands like Nike and Under Armour.
